2015 Winter Fun Run

Join us for the first club ride of 2015!
Sunday, January 18, 2015 at 10:00am
Ride departs from Ben’s Pioneer Gas Station in Winchester.
2140 Hwy 31, Winchester, Ontario, K0C 2K0
There is no cost for the ride, but a valid OFATV Trail Pass is required.
Day passes will be available for $20.

Trespassing on Closed Trails

Trespassing on closed trails leads to trail closures and hurts all ATV enthusiasts.

Please obey the rules and report trespassers to ensure we continue to have trails available to ride in the future.

High Winds and Fallen Trees

Following the high winds last night, please be aware that there is likely debris and trees down blocking some trails. Club volunteers will hopefully be out this weekend to ensure the trails are open.

If you encounter debris you aren’t able to remove, please send an email to trails@nvatvc.org with details about the obstacle and the location so we can have our volunteers take care of it.

Thank you.

2014 Ride for Dad Pledge Earner Draw Winner

Congratulations to our very own Brentley Summers for winning a $500 gift certificate from Lee Valley Tools. All of the ATV participants for all of the ATV Ride for Dad rides who raised more than $100 in pledges were entered in the draw.

Let’s hope he buys some fancy tools to help with the trail maintenance!

The third annual Nation Valley ATV Ride for Dad will be on March 7, 2015.  Volunteers are already working hard to make it the biggest and best ATV Ride for Dad event yet.  If you’re interested in helping, please let us know at info@nvatvc.org.

Trails are OPEN!

With the last day of gun hunting for deer over, the trails have reopened.

Today we got out first accumulation of snow.  Rest assured that club volunteers are busy preparing the grooming equipment for another busy year of winter trail riding.

Trails Closed for Hunting

All Nation Valley ATV Club trails are closed for two weeks during deer hunting.  Many of our trails are on private property where land owners hunt deer for two weeks each fall.  To respect our generous land owners, and for your safety, please obay the trail closures.  Trails will open again on November 17th.

Twelve volunteers were out this morning cutting open another road allowance to connect sections of the new Ottawa trail expansion.  This beautiful wooded section will be a great addition to the trails.  If you’re interested in helping expand the trails into the Osgoode/Greely area, please let us know at info@nvatvc.org.
